On May 1, 2023, an email was sent to the membership regarding Earthquake
and Tsunami Hazards in the Pacific Northwest. Many members attempted to
view this training online but could not due to a restriction of how many
participants could view it. I received email from many members about
being disappointed that they could not get to see the presentation. I
apologize that many of you missed the opportunity to see the
presentation on May 3, 2023
The National Tribal Emergency Management Council (NTEMC) has provided us
the link to presentation that is now available on their YouTube account
page:
Being a resident of the Pacific Northwest, it is incumbent us to have
situational awareness of the man-made and natural hazards that we face
as we live, work and play. You are encouraged to view this superb
presentation so you will be better prepared to survive a major
earthquake.
Thank you to NTEMC for sharing this presentation with us.
